I am a firm believer that people do not value what costs them nothing. Events featuring free guests typically are not well promoted nor attended. Further, Scripture teaches that teachers are to be paid for their labor (Lk. 10:7 cf. 1 Cor. 9:14; Gal. 6:6; 1 Tim. 5:18). So, while I have no minimum fee for single talks at local venues, if I am going to take time away from my family, work, or other ministries, compensation should be discussed.

General Guidelines

• Local (within or near Charlotte, NC):
  • No minimum fee.
  • Expenses provided or covered (food, lodging, travel [mileage is currently 50¢/mile]).
• Distant (outside Charlotte, NC area):
  • $250 per day or night away from home.
  • Expenses provided or covered (food, lodging, travel [mileage is currently 50¢/mile]).

Other Considerations

Group size, recording consent, multiple or extended seminars, or non-standard seminar lengths (following standard church services and conference sessions, most are 45 minutes to an hour) will be considered.

All of this is negotiable, so please just let me know your needs and we will work something out.
